Rediscovering Our City
As we dive into the vibrant tapestry of life in Hong Kong, the upcoming season of cityhow takes us on a reflective journey. It steers our attention towards pressing questions about our everyday spaces. What would happen if our community environments were deliberately designed with dignity, care, and participation in mind? This season invites viewers to look closer at the lives woven into the fabric of our city—those places we frequent daily, yet often overlook.
Stories from the Heart of the City
Each episode opens with an everyday scene that many of us can recognize—be it a bustling late-night street, the simplicity of a public-housing estate, or the early morning hustle of our workplaces. As the stories unfold, we hear from the individuals who find meaning in these settings. By airing their stories, cityhow highlights not just the physical spaces but also the emotional connections and memories tied to them.
Community and Change
Through candid conversations, we start to probe the underlying systems that influence our lives and surroundings. We explore essential questions that resonate with everyone: Who gets to stay out at night? What ingredients are required to create a neighborhood that genuinely feels like home? And importantly, we remember the unseen heroes—those who keep the wheels of Hong Kong turning while the rest of us are fast asleep.
This season is more than just a reflection; it’s a call to action for all of us. It beckons us to consider small, yet impactful ways we can collaborate to enhance the livability of our city. In a world that often feels disconnected, let’s come together with a shared vision of dignity and care for our community spaces.
